Key Responsibilities
- Develop models for wet utilities and prepare feasibility studies and design reports.
- Coordinate with local authorities in Dubai to secure design No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
- Conduct site visits and surveys, preparing comprehensive reports and defining project scopes.
- Collaborate with clients, deliver presentations, and manage stakeholder engagement.
- Lead conceptual design efforts and oversee design development from initiation to completion, ensuring thorough reviews.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, site engineers, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Demonstrate a proven track record with reputable consultancy firms in the UAE.
- Possess technical expertise in both wet and dry infrastructure utilities, including sewerage, stormwater management, potable water, irrigation, firefighting systems, district cooling, electrical, and telecommunications.
- Oversee the preparation of civil infrastructure designs, technical specifications, design reports, and drawings.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, including road engineering, transport planning, and utilities teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with membership in a recognized professional institution.
- Proficiency in developing design drawings, technical specifications, and communicating effectively with project teams and clients.
- Hands-on experience in sewage, stormwater, water supply, and groundwater projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working on municipal, governmental, and private development projects in the UAE.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Expertise in relevant industry software and digital tools.
- Solid background in infrastructure engineering, with extensive experience in infrastructure project delivery.
- Established relationships with key decision-makers within local utility organizations and a deep understanding of UAE regulatory requirements and standards.
- Ability to efficiently manage design and approval processes while coordinating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
